Colne Medical Centre will be closed for the Bank Holiday on May 6th and for the Spring Bank Holiday on May 27th.

Please call NHS 111 if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.

You can also call NHS 111 if you're not sure which NHS service you need. The NHS 111 team will assess your condition over the phone and if it is clinically appropriate, they will refer your case to the out-of-hours service. This will then result in either:

A telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner
A face to face appointment to attend a primary care centre to see a doctor or nurse practitioner, or
A home visit from a doctor or nurse practitioner

Colne Medical Centre is a branch of the ColTe Partnership.

The Partnership are offering appointments outside the normal working hours of the surgery. 

You can now make appointments at times up to 8 pm on weekdays, on Saturdays during the day and Sunday mornings.  You can be seen at any of the following practices at these times; Creffield Medical Centre in Colchester or in Ambrose Surgery at Tollgate.

There is a range of appointments being offered with General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and Physiotherapists.

Please phone the surgery and ask the receptionist to book an appointment.
